.
Sure you do kapteeni, you might like, and are capable, to have 4 or more installations of modpacks on you computer, other may not. In my squadron this modpack mess is getting noticable. People who are not that computer literate are getting fed up to have 4 or more installations of this game to fly on the servers their squadron likes. They should not have to ask their sons to make installation after installation just to play this game.
I am not a proAAA or proUP or proSAS or whatever. I am a proIL2. For this to work, for this game to strive it is IMPERATIVE that modpackers, at least the major ones, WORK TOGETHER and are compatible.
I was hoping there would only be ONE online modpack, but it will never ever happen, It never did for other games, it wil never happen for this. The next best thing is that those that exist are compatible at least... at least the major ones as I said.

I can't see the connection mate. Size does not equal reliability. Reliability to me is quality. When WoP servers went UI1.2 I was very happy. WOW. MDS!!
The distribution debacle with corrupt files almost made a 1/3 of my squadron to stop play this game. That is not reliability to me. I speant hours(!!) helping out all the mishaps for my buddies when finally a torrent was released thankfully.
To lean on size alone is just arrogant and arrogance is a dangerous game to play. Willingnes to cooperate, humbleness, open for new ideas and competence is the game to play kapteeni; MDS and SFS file are only examples.

where?

As are others.......

I never use many of the planes and maps from AAA UI options. Since I never fly online,I have no need for compatibility.

I usually count to 3 before i do anything..... 8) you are at 2 now.lol
Please again, drop the arrogance? does not helo anyone.

I don't thik the question is "Should AAA,SAS, and Ultrapack be compatible with each other". It's long overdue for the various mod-overlords to get together & establish some sort of body that will decide on a semi-regular basis ...
1. the standard required for a mod to be considered for inclusion in future "expansion" packs; This standard should include the criteria of enhancing game play and being of value to the sim community, not just another mod that make very minor changes to an object etc.
2. which mods meet the required standard. These mods can then be packaged as a single "authorised" pack;
Of course each mod-auhor would like to have their mod used by others, but it's time for the mod-gurus to stop pushing their own barrel & recognise that their partisan approach is not in the best interests of the flight sim community.
Amen to that brother.
PS: Do not in ANYWAY think I am not greatful for all the work you guys have done. I for one knows what is takes to makes something flyble with quality in IL2. I just implore you to take a somewhat humble attitude, which I am greatful that you are. As fly-zo mentioned, your stance has changed and for this I am a very happy camper indeed. Hvala!!!!
