FMB mission loading error [SOLVED]
#1

I've tried searching for a solution for this problem on the forum but I haven't found it so here it goes.

I recently installed UI 1.2 and since then the FMB is not working properly.
When I load a mission the map shows up with all the objects, waypoints etc. etc.
but the "Please wait - mission loading" window is still showing and when I close it
I can't to anything with the mission. I can't even press the "Fly" button.
Any ideas what could have happen?

Thanks in advance

Hi.
Well upgrading UI with new patches I think overwrigt your Static.ini located in MODS/STD/COM/MADDOX/IL2/OBJECTS folder.
If the Static.ini changed and do not anymore correspond to the objekts in your mapps. FMB would act very strange, If so,
It might be you have to refresh your Static.ini by adding the usualy Add.to.ini stuff provided with the mapps you eventually
have DL and installed before you patched up to UI 1.2. Thats wy it is so important to always have a Back-Up to go back on.
Good Luck.

Now that you say it that way it makes alot of sense. Will try to re-install all the custom maps I've downloaded and see if it works
then. Thank you for helping the ignorant neighnbour in the east.

Okay, That didn't help. Cry
I don't know what to do really. Anyone who has any idea what to do?

This is what I see when I try to load a mission on the map:

It stays that way and nothing happens.

EDIT: Haven't tested all maps yet but it seems like the problem is located to Canons BoB-map.

Issue solved. It seems that when I installed the Unified Installer 1.2 the static.ini was overwritten and therefore every object (HANGAR MOD,FORTIFICATION MOD etc.)
MOD didn't work. Just added the text from all the files to solve it.

Just a heads up for those who get the same problem.
