Yes mate I know that the shape of those ships is different between the stock and the required , infact my request is based on the ship that can couple with this substantial shape difference because the most important future isn't the hull or deck shape but , for the Kaga and the Hiryu , (the one that recognize them immediatly) is the left site island on the deck , any other shape can be confused but this is the most important recognition future historically used for both!

Even the light and escort carriers have their most important recognition future in the lack of the deck island!

For blueprints i think that Plumbs can have a lot of source for those ships! Can you post or send some to Asheshouse please?

If you consider the visual appearance from the air then as well as the position of the bridge the shape of the flight deck is an important visual recognition factor. Kaga and Akagi are significantly different IMO.

Hi mate!

Nothing that cannot be improved in the future if someone like or when you'll have finish your Mediterranean works if you'll have still time and will to do those!

But in the meantime we can use some semi-similar ones!

This is what I'm looking for....

....but I won't to press you anyway!

I let you your final decision about them!

cheers

So here is some info material on the Kaga and the Akagi, unfortunately the most detailed pictures are of the time when she was buildt, that means when she had the short flight deck. I hope the material is still of some use?

The first pictures are from the time where the flight deck had not yet been made to its final length.
But gives an idea how she looked like below the water line.

I've just seen this in a thread on another site about HSFX 4.0 (new mod pack)

From the release notes:

Quote:Ground Objects:-

Ship pack 2: - Introduces a lot of new stationary and moving ships. (FC & Archie)
+
Char Aznable (Soldati)
Miker (Indomitable & reskinned Essex class + another ?)
Chap (HMSFiji & Tribal, Littorio Battleship)
Cat (IJNHiryu, Kaga & Soryu plus reskinned Akagi)

From comments here by Monguese it appears that AAA's UI may be adopting the HSFX system.

Its not clear whether the ships listed are Franken ships or scratch built.

Dear mate!

I have got the new ships you referred in your post and what we are talking in all the previous post is more actual now because they have done what I have suggested but in a less better way!

Their Hiryu is a reskinned Akagi , their Soryu & Kaga are a reskinned IJN Generic Carrier , their IJN CVL is a reskinned USN CVL , their Tribal DD is a reskinned USN DD , and so on!

I really thanks them for the new ship that can sostitute the absent ones.....but I also think that some improvements are now more needed because if my previous request is poor thing in confront of a real new ship is always better than a simple reskin!

And their new slot can save you time!

I think that if you change side at the deck island of the IJN generic carrier , of the Akagi and of the USN CVL and CVE we can have good ships in the meantime while we are waiting for real new ships!

If you need I can post some screens of the ship into the HSFX!

cheers

Well I would guess that their skin mod for the Tribal class is now no longer required.

If all of these are in new slots then there must be new class files included. Are all the files compressed into new *.sfs files?
--- or can you still see folders for the new ships in the ShipPack mod folder? The various *.ini and *.properties files will also be different to accommodate the new slots.

Akagi would need the deck island and the two mast structures and the starboard side stack altered. Some mirroring of parts would be required. After doing a lot of work the end result would still be something which is not the Kaga other than in name.
