One question would anyone object to invasion stripes on the lower sides of the 'Late' aircraft?

Not, at all. As for the Certain Fighter Group's which ones would you be doing Phase? The Invasion Stripes would be great.

Well it looks like Factory blanks are winning so I will likely do them like that.
Doing fighter groups is to open in my mind, theres to many options.

Thinking of doing the Late 47 in one of the RAF paint repaints

The P51B in olive drab over grey the C in one of the high tilde schemes same with the D-5 and the D-20 all metal

Yeah that's a good approach, early US fighters olive, late ones bare metal.

I was thinking about a solution so that they are generic skins, but not too bland, as US planes need to look flamboyant... I was pondering whether a semi-fictional scheme could solve this, kind of like what they did in the Battle of Britain movie with the fictional German emblem. I can't really see the fictional approach being too popular though...

As far as invasion stripes, I think they should be the subtle version, so that it isn't too distracting if one chooses to use them in another campaign.

Heres the rest, the 47 Late and the 51's I put white nose on the B/C Mustangs as it looks generic enough











If anyone has suggestions on improving these skins please say so, other wise I will pack up the default files and ship them out
