but you need IL-2 19406, not the original il-2
Yes, norm is right. You need IL-2 1946, patch it to version 4.08, and then install UI 1.1 and UI 1.2.

IL-2 1946 is really cheap. You can find it from almost every game shop.

I was in PC WORLD and all I could see was Il-2 Sturmovik and Forgotten battles and NO IL-2 1946 :evil: and the same in GAME and GAMESTATION I looked in the game shops and NO 1946 ONLY BIRDS OF PREY is what I could find :roll:

I was beginning to wonder if there was anyone out there at all!
I too am a 'new guy' and am wondering how to get the 6DOF function working in the Universl Installer.
I've already done the installing and everything seems fine, version switcher, new aircraft, sounds, maps etc.
I've even tried the wind mod which is excellent for realism in filming chase sequences.
The 6DOF doesn't work in any version however.
I have TrackIR pro which is full 6D in MSFSX but can't get it to work in the modded IL2 game.
Anyone help?
