whenever i take a screen shot it takes a picture of the desktop also when i do that the files grab are not in the il-2 file location plz help me :? :?

Are you running XP,Vista,Windows7?Are you using the Steam version of IL2 if so press F5 key to capture screenshots, they save in the Steam folder.If not then get one of the screen capture programs available otherwise I don't know what to tell you I think the screenshot function of IL2 has always been setup to save in the default location,it's game folder.

Look in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Shared Documents and see if you have something called a save folder in there,if so open it up and see if your screenshots are in it.

Though I still sometimes use the PC screen-capture, I like Fraps better. The dowload is free. www.fraps.com
The only advantage that I see to the PC version is that I can easily add captions/text and edit it in Paint or Office PowerPoint with little in frame pics if I want.
