Hey everybody. First let me thank Storebor for making the F-86J and also Duetschmark and Wolf for doing up the sidewinder and it's operating system.
I just couldn't help myself when I got the new sidewinder and rail launcher textures and did what any skinner sometimes feels compelled to do. I tinkered. Since I could only find a few references for the AIM-9b and they looked rather bland, I decided that this beauty needed a face lift. I extended the seeker head to fit the fins onto it and recolored the rocket motor band to the U.S. ordinance standard chocolate brown. I gave the front fins a new texture and generally made a fool of myself.
Next I turned my attention to the rail and pylon. It got the same treatment. new panel lines, rivets, doors, AIRLOC © fastners, etc..
Anyway, I hope you like them and use them on your next mission into the Cold War.
