Iwo mission ....Battle without end

I have sung the praises of Zuti's new MDS mod before and am about to again.
HSFX pack came with FC's (FatCat) new Infantry...and so UltraPack 1.8 which includes the HSFX pack does too.
There is a new type of item listed under its own tab..Infantry and these include the squads which have some of the attributes of vehicles.....they move and fire...with marching sound and little pops and burps of rifle and SMG fire and a flash.....if they have A/T men with bazookas then these will also fire with a whoosh like a katushka rocket and can knock out tanks. Also they will sometimes release the running men we are familar with if frightening explosions are nearby. They are useful to add men in combat situations and also just to have as airfield personnel wandering about. They attract straffing planes too and their small arms fire is quite capable of destroying a plane ditched nearby.
The static Infantry come under the Artillery tab...as do also all the bunkers with Machine guns and shore guns (new to the HSFX pack). They will swivel to face the enemy just as some AA guns do.
The important thing is that if we open the MDS tab in the FMB we have a choice to adjust respawn times...for ships...searchlights.....and artillery.

I have just been playing with Redko's new Iwo Jima textures and made a mission. I put bunkers on land and around Mt. Suribachi and infantry both static and moving for both sides........ there are Corsairs taking off from a carrier to bomb the defences on Suribachi....and all the ships and guns on landing craft join in firing upon the Japanese positions. With in a minute most of the infantry from both sides are down, leaving the ships firing against the harder concrete bunkers. But I allotted a respawn of four minutes (2400 secs) for the artillery.... so after a lul in the fighting the static Infantry and bunkers are respawned and the action hots up again....this will continue almost without end. A nice backdrop to my mission to fly from the carrier and bomb then land and rearm and possibly go again.

I tried to download the mission, but the hosting site says the link is not valid ... a typo or something perhaps when copying download link?

downloaded, ok running U1.8, stops loading with this "Iwo_redko/load.ini" What else do i need to do

This uses the new textures by redco for the Iwo map....if you don't have them then open the .mis file and change 'Iwo_Redco/load.ini to Iwo/load.ini

Are the infantry and coastal artillery mods only available in HSFX or can I download them separately as well?
Not looking forward on a 1 GB download just for 2 mods; I am perfectly happy with my current mods.. (exept missing out on those 2) 8)

Yea, can you just make a list of mods from UP1.8 needed to launch your mission, Fabian?

The HSFX has the artillery and Infantry...they are not available seperate.....
it also has Shippack2 which i have used in the mission..
