I wanted to throw this thread out there to identify the "best of the best" regarding IL2 modded campaigns. Comprising all aspects from immersion to grandeur, which campaigns are simply the best for the offline campaign enthusiast.

Of all the campaigns I have run so far, which have been quite a few, the one which brings the fondest memories is "USS Enterprise"
The campaign simply is all encompassing with excellent cut movies, wide spanning time line, excellent mission dialog, multiple aircraft given the upgrades from wildcats to hellcats throughout the war, and various operation battle areas throughout the pacific where Enterprise served. Well worth the adventure.

Hopefully replies to this thread will include a few I have not flown yet?!

Which campaign is simply the best you ever experienced?

Two of the best that I've flown are 1) Luftwaffe Pilot: Legion Kondor by FlatSpinMan and 2) Hell in the Pacific: Pelielu by PhilK.

I have all three mention above post and it is hard to choose all three deserve the honor of being the best. But there are others out there that is as good too. I enjoy all of them

I really liked Murmansk to Morocco. Can't wait for the author to update his campaign with the early 110 types!

Another campaign definitely on the list is Biggin Hill. What I found most rewarding from this campaign is the added British radio chatter pack. Very original and great addition to the campaign format. Listening to the dialog about "William's brawl with a sentry the last night" and other conversations in the air are quite entertaining! Of course the aerial combat is top notch for furball lovers too!

My favorite IL-2 Campaign Of all time is ALWAYS the one I am currently working on.

Right now thats:

USMC KTO pt 2 "The Frozen Chosin"

I particularly enjoyed the "Hells Angels" campaign. The movies were beautiful, the briefings were wonderful and the missions were quite engaging. In short, a near perfect campaign!

I usually love philk's campaigns, czechtexan's and flatspinman's too.
But it is really subjective.
Mosca did very good campaigns for the beaufighter too ("strike & strike again")...
