Possible to Track Pilot Deaths in Scripted Campaign?
#1

I am a big fan of the many scripted campaigns out there, and was wondering if there would be a way to track pilot death to impact campaign. Currently, campaigns track "Lost Aircraft" but this only accounts for destroyed planes, and not necessarily pilot death or capture. Basically it would be cool if there was another line item for the Campaign stats/parameters which included Pilot Death/Capture. Additionally, as with the "No Instant Success" toggle, this parameter could be set to impact campaigns by resetting a pilots score to 0 if they continue in campaign, or force a campaign end if the toggle is chosen. Therefore if you die or are captured during a campaign, it could either be set to end via the toggle or default to resetting the pilot score to 0, aka losing medals and rank.

I know that DCG/DGen tracks pilot deaths and can be set to impact score, but it would be cool to carry that into the scripted campaigns too, with a toggle similar to "No Instant Success" or the other campaign parameters.

Do you think this is possible?

That is certainly a cool idea. Don't know if it possible.

I'd love to be able to create my own DGen/DCG campaigns but I have no idea how to do that, and it seems pretty complicated. I haven't found any tutorials on how to do it, either.

Another DCG tutorial by Scharnhorst43:http://allaircraftsimulations.com/forum/...m.php?f=23

I don't know if this is possible, it would require editing the game engine I think
