clouds issue

hi guys

i been having a strange issue. when i fly through clouds my fps drops from 60s to low 30s n 20s and it really annoying and i know i shouldent be having these probloms. it wasent always like this its been happeing alot latly my specs are plenty high enough to not have these fps issues. at least i would think

my specs..

intel core 2 duo e8400 3.0 ghz
asus p5ql pro mother board
3 GB of ram
320 GB HDD
gigabyte Geforce 9600 gt turbo force edition

You did not show all of your settings. Try using the old clouds....much faster than the new clouds.....and better looking, in my opinion. (TypeClouds=0)

ok were do i find clouds all i see is sky

Oh man, I just realized where we are.....a modding site. If you are using mods, it's already dropping your frame rate at least 40% lower than a non-modded version. If you are using a cloud mod, it will drop even more. If that's the case, I suggest you upgrade your computer. Mods may be free, but you will pay in other areas...Smile

lol i just built this computer back in july i spent around 1000 on it and i dont plan on that would maybe upgrading from my 9600 gt to a 9800 gt help my overall fps much cause im buying a xfx 9800 gt around christamas
