I appreciate the work and effort your mod required, but I feel that I must point out that the dusty takeoffs were a real issue in the second world war, and into korea, pilots often stating that they were almost taking off blind. I also found a few photos of, admittedly modern, but still prop aicraft taking off from dirt runways:

I was next to a P-47 as it made a turn on the taxiway, and it kicked up 1 hell of a dust cloud.

Good points but my concern was for "all grass" fields that were in England during WWII (some were concrete).

I would kid the airfield's grounds-keeper to water down the field before we took off. His response was "it would make the field muddy :mrgreen: "

Notable are the scenes from the movie "Battle of Britain" with the Spits and Hurricanes taking off - no dust clouds as they scrambled.

Well i made this mod Because, I dislike having to wait for ever to take off, and the original ground dust slows pc down, along with any other dust smoke effects in this game.

I would like to see this in appropriate climate (summer...) and under the expected circumstances (weather...). Also reffering to model, an early Avia won't make such dustclouds as the heavy juggs. Nitpicking work I know.
Recently read Lt. Stahls memories, there attached is a pic of a KG 30 Ju-88 warming up in full throttle and turning before the hangar. Could have been summer in France. The dustcloud is twice the volume of our stock one. Under special circumstances, we don't get even close.

Will download for winter and bad condition missions, still worth the idea and your hard work.
