select missions 7-13 in the campaign folder and save as "what?" confused, can you help. Thanks DW

Is anyone else getting a similar issue? :?

I'm having the same problem too Sad
Does anyone have the answer ? This campaign is too good to stop here Smile

Edit: Playing them singly I can confirm the above statement that 7a is the problem mission.

I think what 'zerk' means is that you open mission 7 thru 13 in FMB. 'Redaktor' means editor in German. So 'full redaktor' would mean 'full editor.' I don't speak German, but I know someone who does.

So, here is what you do:

1. Start Il-2
2. Open Mission 7a in Full Mission Builder
3. Wait for it to start. Takes a long time to load.
4. Click Saves As (Use the default name: bob-cbm-7A.mis)
5. Save to desktop
6. Copy/Paste your newly save mission in Missions/Campaign/GB/Fighter Boys folder (be sure to backup files)

Zerk says to do this for missions 7-13. For some reason, just tweaking mission7a was good enough for me. Hope all this helps.

I'm also having trouble.
I've done three missions now and it doesn't save my progress.
Tried again from scratch and still no joy.

Anyone got around this?

I'm really enjoying it and want to work through it!

A new version where the strange problems with mission 7A is fixed, will be posted soon. Sorry.

I have no idea what caused it. Found out myself that just loading it in FMB and saving it does the trick. Any ideas out there what the problem is?

Fantastic campaign!!! I never realized how under gunned the first gen Spitfires really were. You really have to hammer the Jerries to flame them.

Please, does somebody have a formula to save missions. The map loads, missions fly then back to zero. I'm totally lost. Is there anybody who can help out? Thank you. DW

When you can't save it usually is a problem with some missing objects, I think.

Also: notice that a new version of the campaign - getting rid of the bug mentioned above - has been posted on M4T - see top post!

I have the same problem with missions not saving in this campaign and in 303 SQDN campaign.

Not sure what you mean by "missioning objects." Anybody with a fix, or am I doing something wrong? I've had no similar problems before.

The missions are great in both campaigns. Very immersive, but can't get through it. Cry

What I meant was "missing objects".

The fact that you can't save either Fighterboys or the 303 Campaign suggests that the problem is somehow map-related. Probably that you don't have ... as just mentioned ... all the objects you should. You should perhaps try and reinstall Cannons map?

It must have been the MAP load was corrupted. I installed UP 2.0 that contains this Channel map and bingo...everything saves as intended.

For all having problems with missions saving, recommend a re-install of the Channel Map, or just install UP 2.0 that contains the map.

Tks for a great campaign and a great map!!
