Just had my HD crash with all IL2 mods on it. Put in a new HD and repaired the original and it is now my backup. I put a clean 1946 install on new HD and patched 408m and 409m and they worked. Went to install HSFX4 and it seems to install ok, but after enabling HSFX History Mod in the JGSME it still boots up 409m? Also, there are many mods to choose from in the JGSME and the enabler is a different version from the 242 website? Any info would be great. Thanks.

Thats the one I have and I put the HSFX history mod to the right but when I start the game it only loads 409m.

Nope. Just installed clean 1946-->408m-->409m-->hsfx 4-->hsfx 4.1.
Running Windows Vista/7? If so you may want to try running JGSME.exe as administrator, re-enable History mod in it, and try firing up the game again to see if it's fixed
Does JSGME show the correct path to IL2 in its splash banner at top?
I got it running, a stupid space in the word Ubisoft was the problem... :roll:
