Hi all, I've been kinda working on a new B-17G template as a little side project, and tonight I ran into a pretty massive problem. I was in the middle of saving the file, and my computer decided to crap out on me, which it does from time to time (the screen will sometimes just go black, and the only solution I've come up with is to turn off the computer). So, I held the power button, restarted my computer, and tried to re-open the file, and GIMP tells me that the .xcf file is corrupted... So now all I have left is the internals layer, which wasn't even part of the work I'd done. I tried running a system restore, but the file is still corrupted. is there any way that I might be able to recover the file, or am I pretty much f'ed? I'm kinda hoping not, because I had done a completely reworked lines set, and a very in-depth set of rivets that took about a day to complete, plus a ton of other major upgrades... Any help you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated, and I guess if there's no solution, I'll have to start over again (not anytime soon though...) :/
*edit- I just found out that I did have the template backed up about a week ago, so I didn't lose EVERYTHING, but pretty close to it...
