The Belgium SimWare is one of those with downloads, so I will be buying some more of their addons next month by download. They did ship the last addon (only CD , no download for that particular addon) that I bought from them 3 weeks ago to me here in the USA.

The really interesting IL2 addons have been the ones that I bought from Amazon.de. They are static campaigns, but I've never seen any of them over here (such as Star of Afrika). Obsviously, IL-2 is very popular in the German speaking countries as that site shows us. The swastika to me is merely historical and I wish that it were included in stock IL-2. The rising sun was historical for Japan. The Soviet Union had it's symbols on planes. All are historical and should be included, I feel.

Very interesting. I ordered IL-2 1946 from Amazon 2 months ago and I received the European version. I was wondering whether that was an anomaly but it appears that its normal.
