Before I really screw things up...

I have 4.09b1m and UI 1.1 but am missing the I-15bis which would be REALLY nice to have since I want to include it in the Winter War campaign that I am in the process of putting the finishing touches on. If I reinstall the unified installer, is it going to mess up my other mods? Do I even need to reinstall it or is there somewhere I can get just download that particular aircraft and add it in as I would any other individual aircraft? Please help as there are a lot of I-153's posing as I-152's and its very upsetting to my historical sensibilities! :?

hi im not the best at these things but try creating a new folder on your desktop and extract the UI 1.1 mod to the new folder that way it wont overwrite anything you dont want to and you can manually place the files you wish to have into your game folder :-)

Last time a made a custom folder with all my game files for my my modded version of 4.08 when I deleted everything in my game folder and put the files from my mod version folder it screwed up my game and everytime it started it would be 4.09 still instead of 4.08 modded Sad

Still trying to resolve the problem now

Even after you reinstall the game from 4.07, update it to 4.08 and then put all the modded files in(all of the files from the game folder when the game was modded) the game folder you may still have the same problem.

I basicly gave up on playing IL-2 but I shall try again to fix my game today.

So doing that is quite a bad idea.

In addition install the latest buttons file into the gui\game folder --- backup your old one first.

From your temp folder on desktop find the I-15bis folder in MODS and copy it into your game installation.

The look in each of air.ini, weapons_ru.properties and plane_ru.properties in your temp folder and find the text entries that relate to the I-15bis and copy the additional text into the files in your game installation if required.

Keep backups of any files you edit until you are satisfied that it is working.

I just downloaded everything a second time; however, looking at my current mods folder, I do have an entry for the ChaikaBS but it does not appear with fixed gear in the game. Is this the bis and if so, why doesn't it look like it?
