is there a way to access the load.ini of maps not in the mapmod folder such as net7islands
ok.
great mod but i noticed fps problems when taking of (in water or field) on Wake map in hight resolution, 1600 for exemple, even with my quad Q9650 and 8800Gt.
strange....when i put 1200 as resolution fps is mutch better. :?
i'm still testing to find out the reason. does anyone else noticed that ?
when i put again 1600 resolution fps falls, in particular at the moment when altitude is growing with the taking off, and then it's a little better at higher altitude watching down the ground.
i guess it's a problem of texture filtering by the graphic card... :?:
Sorry if your having problems but I think I've been told it could be the static actors in the map that cause frame rate loss. If not I'll have to work on it.
wont work for me.
I miss all tga
Place the texture in like this...
IL2 Sturmovik/Mods/MapMods/Maps/_Tex/Bombsaways_Tarawa/Tarawa.
Then add this line to the BP_midway load.ini......
Water2 = Bombsaways_Tarawa/Tarawa/Shallows6a_Fields_A.tga
at the bottom of the load.ini like this...
;Water2 = Bombsaways_Tarawa/Tarawa/Shallows1a_Fields_A.tga
;Water2 = Bombsaways_Tarawa/Tarawa/Shallows2a_Fields_A.tga
;Water2 = Bombsaways_Tarawa/Tarawa/Shallows3a_Fields_A.tga
;Water2 = Bombsaways_Tarawa/Tarawa/Shallows4a_Fields_A.tga
;Water2 = Bombsaways_Tarawa/Tarawa/Shallows5a_Fields_A.tga
Water2 = Bombsaways_Tarawa/Tarawa/Shallows6a_Fields_A.tga
;Water3 = land/summer/grnd/fields_proc013.tga
Water3 = water/Beach.tga
renamed the bpload.ini to load.ini - all ok now :-)
Sorry, dumb question here, but I'm using UP, and I don't have a mapmods folder... how would I structure that?
Thanx.
That's amazing !!!!
It look wonderful.
I'm just worrying about the "hungriness" of such new texture in flight? Does it lower a lot the FPS on "small" machine with old graphic hardware?
Anyway, hold on and please continue to upgrade this way the original textures !!!!
:wink:
wowzer...this is completely awesome thx
is it needed water = 3? cause i cant put the water like that, i cant save the file.
