can't fly MiG-15 after installing HSFX 4.1!
#1

O.K... I installed HSFX 4.1 for the second time (properly now)...
Now I have all the planes & cockpits to fly, exchept one: MiG-15/17...
Everytime I try to fly it -- I get black screen after "loading 100%"...

How can it be fixed? Isn't MiG-15/17 cockpits included in HSFX 4.1?? :x

Change parameter LOG=0 on LOG=1 in file conf.ini as here:
[Console]
LOG=1
LOGFILE=log.lst
If program will not lose control it will write LOGs in file log.lst (name of a LOG file can be any) and there you will find the problem, maybe Smile

Well, after all that's the plane I installed HSFX 4.1 for, so I sense the anger inside you Big Grin

The Mig-comes along with the Mig-9 pit, if 4.1 was properly installed - hard to say, what exactly
is out of place here. One suggestion as a workaround: get the Mig-15 pit by Ranwers...

(The link is inoperative)

...I prefer it over the Mig-9-pit anyhow, as the impotant gauges are more visible and usable and
it's simply more Mig-like. Just create a mods-folder in your Sturmovik main folder and copy the
unzipped Mig-15(bis) pit folder into it. Your folder structure should be like "mods/Mig-15(bis)/3do.....".

Just a try, hope this helps you out.

Thank you all, guys, for your replies...

I really appreciate it.

I tried to use Ranwers MiG-15 cockpit as a separate mod install -- still no luck.
Game loads fine, I can tweak my MiG-15 in quck settings/loadout menu O.K...
But everytime I try to fly it -- I get total black screen after "loading 100%"... Cry
(But game doesn't crashes -- I can exit to main meny O.K....)

here's my log file, just in case smb may find the issue:

Thanks in advanse!

LOGs specifies, that the class cannot find a cockpit. You installed only clean HSFX 4.1 (except new cockpit MiG-15)? Now many different versions MiG-15. You could specify loading link of your new package MiG-15?

OMG! anatoly, I think I found a problem: right after installing HSFX 4.0 -->4.1, I think I remember there was a "Mods" folder with some WIP/temporary content, but I replaced it with my own "MODS" folder... :-? maybe there was some MiG-15 related stuff there??

So, if you or smb. who reads this still has an unmodified "MODS" folder that you get right after installing HSFX 4.0 --> 4.1, is it possible to upload it somewhere for me? :roll: That would actually solve my problem, I believe... :oops:

There is no MODS folder after installing HSFX...it gets deleted because HSFX does not need it.
If you've gone and put your own MODS folder in afterwards, probably something in it is conflicting with the MiGs.
Rename the folder with minus sign, and see if it fix your problem.

Got the same problem here. For the F86 the new freddys cockpit was the solution. Still working on the MIG15...

I have only distribution kit HSFX 4.1 as well as at you. I do not use original package HSFX 4.1. Mine ModPack is own assembly on the basis of SFS from HSFX 4.1 but with other structure. So there folder MODs differs from original HSFX 4.1...
