I finally figures out how to make good skins.
I made this and few others for my SQ.

Very good!!!! I suggest you add a little bit of weathering, that will add a very nice touch.

What are your RGB values for the yellow used in your cowl and tail?

Just curious. I'm using info from Simmers Paintshop. But I have no idea how accurate it is.....

I used "my SQ orange" that's cc6600. I'm not sure if it is historical.

Is there a definitive source for correct colors or does everyone just use "what looks right"?

I don't know but I use the colors that look good. Weathering may make the colors bit darker.

A guy called Vagabond has good skinning (video!) tutorials, they're on YouTube. The weathering tutorial is for Photoshop but can be done in GIMP as well Smile
