hi everyone..i plan on becoming more active in this group i love 1946..
now my question... i have just upgraded to V4.09 (beta) its says all planes are flyable..but their not..how do i unlock all the planes to fly them...im really keen to get into a B29 and a B17..

I believe the 4.09 beta patch only gives you a few new stock planes, but does not make AI-only aircraft from the stock game flyable. The trend these days seems to be to patch the original IL-2 1946 game out of the box with the 4.08 and 4.09m (final, not beta), and then install MODS in the form of either UltraPack 2.0, or HSFX 4.0 plus the HSFX 4.01 patch. That should give you plenty of AI aircraft to fly. For download links to these mods, you could use the search function on this site.

Forget about 409 beta... that is obsolete. Instead, as suggested above:
1) starting point: Il2 1946 DVD + 408m + 409m (so:official, not the beta).
2) add a 409m-compatible mod pack (HSFX 4.1 or UP 2.0), if don

Welcome to the forum If you are willing to make an aircraft and CAN do it, I
will suggest to make aircraft that no one has started yet... for example a FW-190 2-seater version,
or RAF Gloster Meteor, or help out any of the mods working out the details to finishing their aircraft/maps/etc. etc.

i have no idea how to even start making a new aircraft i dont have the know how, but i would love to learn.where is a good place to start to learn how to do this, heck i dont even know how to make skins lol
