Help please I recently did A reinstall of my 4.08 mod version of il2 and now when I reinstalled it and used mod activator, aircraft installer and wrapper I seem to have a lot of files missing and + there is hardly any files in my STD folder and it doesnt have the air .ini . Instead my air.ini was in my files folder where as before I reinstalled it was in both my STD and my files folder.

My STD folder also seems to have a lot of files missing compared to my old install including the air.ini .

I need someone to explain how to get all the files in the right places properly and give me some links to a good guide because I have looked at the guides and they arent helpful at all because they just mention air.ini and automatic installer which hardly any plane mod has.

The early mod activators did not have all the same file structure.
If you don't want to upgrade to latest Mod pack, either HSFX or UltraPack, you will have to create the folder and file paths you are talking about. You can copy most of those things from the files folder to your new STD folder, if you wish, but there is not really anything wrong with having them in the files folder.
