Your Favorite Pictures of 2009
#1

Howdy all! I ran into this subject over on another forum and basically this thread covers your top Aviation Photos that you've taken from the year 2009. So, please post you favorite Aviation Pictures of 2009. Really can't wait for this year's Airshow Season due to the fact that Washington State has a new air museum opening up and now I have a new camera.

Here's mine. In no order.

Enjoy! 8)

Of course I'd have to include one of my pictures from when I got to climb up into a P-51. Big Grin

My best readily accessible ones (featuring the same aircraft as pictured in Phas3e's shots):

Great pictures, many thanks! But ugh, do i hate the early 30's american "camouflaging", the planes look like something out of a cartoon and not the killing machines they were... :-?

Great photos of the Dr1. I sometimes dream about owning my own airplane and on top of that fantasy dream about what type of plane I might be able to afford. It usually ends up being some old Russian run about like a Yak 50, 52, or maybe a 55. Then I hit upon a company that makes full scale DR1. kits for like $13K plus motor, etc. How cool would that be?

Hey Doodle, that first Pony pick looks suspiciously like Tillamook!

Howdy, Bob. It sure is Tillamook! The Tillamook Air Museum housed in the largest Wooden Structure in the World an old Blimp Hangar from WWII.
