This is a Confederate States Army Air Force library of templates which I'll add to as I complete them. Entirely fictional, unofficial, and not compulsory in any way. However, for those who would like to avail themselves of these templates, here are some ground rules...
- The original markings are painted over USAAF roundels. It consists of a red circle with a blue and white cross.
- Following combat experience the blue cross is deleted, leaving a roundel consisting of a red circle with a white cross.
- Mid war markings (bearing in mind the high degree of similarity in equipment between opposing forces and the ready utilisation of captured airframes) is also painted over in the same area, consisting of a red bar with a red circle and white cross.
- The triangle is retained for Volunteer Wings and the Louisiana Group
- Standard fin/rudder markings are the red and white bars (as postulated by RAF_Loke). Air force groups use state identifications on the tail where available.
- Added option for red & white late war invasion stripes (Should be used instead of roundels.
