Every time I try to load the either KTO map in Mission builder or a mission created on this map I crash to desk top. Anyone know how to fix this issue. I would be grateful for any help...Thnx

That's one big honkin' map. Try turning on STC3 texture compression in setup, and see if that helps.

Thanks for the response Bulau.. but Im not familiar with STC3 set up or where it is found.

You access via your IL2 setup exe. which you find in your IL2 files or you can also setup it via your start menu.


Do not search for it via setup ingame, it isn't there.

Or you can open your game's config.ini using notepad and set the value TexCompress=2 under [Render_OpenGl].
Il2 setup has a nasty habit of resetting your game's resolution to the lowest if you are using a custom resolution like most of us do nowadays.

had the same prob, yes switch to STC3 but found out that in my case I also had to switch off the 1GB/4GB_Client_Executable in the Mod Enabler
