So, Here are some screenshots for your pleasure.

By the way... later on, I will also be making an American , British, and Russian aircraft skin, so

Seeing as you are dealing with most nations-why not try an Italian one? Regia Aeronautica or Aeronaurica Nazionale Republicana. They had some interesting prototypes.

Anyway regardless, thanks very much, these are really nice.

Thank You very much.
Very interesting idea Metatron. I like it !
Some Italian J7W1 italian camo-schemes would be nice to see on this airplane-
Why not!?
This is for a fictional air battle in 1946, perhaps the IAF might have used this plane.
So, why not (!?) I like the idea.
I will make some skins soon. Have some fun with them!

Here's an idea...

Captured by the Americans and tested at the Technical Air Intelligence Center similar to this Zero...

I would also suggest using this same scheme, but with British roundels since RAF captured planes were also tested at TAIC. Just as a side note, it would be nice to see a TAIC bird for the RAAF with those nice white and blue roundels too.

Some other things to think about would be a Russian captured one from the invasion of Manchuria. There could also be some Chinese Nationalist and Communist captured schemes.

You said and Italian J7W1... Any Shindens that the Italians got would have probably been from Germany. Possibly an exchange for the Fiat G.56... Anyways, they could have partial German markings and some splinter camo here and there like Italy's 109's. Then there's post-war Italy schemes you could do. That could even be where the IDAF got their Shindens from since Italy gave Spits to Israel. Just some fun ideas for you to toy with...

Come on, I can have more fun than that... Let's just say that the Japs put the J7W1 in Korea to attack American bomber streams and bases. After the war, several of those planes were left behind and were eventually captured by North Korean forces. The first B-29's over Korea would have been hit by the same scourge they got in Japan just three years before. If we had a J7W2 conversion, the Koreans might have not even used Migs. Sabre vs. Shinden... That is, of course, until Russia got involved.

Ah yes, your quite right. AND lets not forget that the J7W1 designers had already envisioned
an aircraft with a jet to replace the props  That project never came true, but could have
gone that way if the war had lasted a while longer. The Kikka jet-fighters were already being
constructed in secret mountain factories, so its very likely the Shinden could have gone the
same way if it showed some success in aerial combat against the B-29s and other aircraft.

That would make a very good action scene (for IL-2), to see a dogfight with Sabres fighting
against a futuristic-looking "jet" Shinden. Confusedhock:
... I will try this tomorrow with a squadron of Sabres Versus some Shinden
