Years ago i show this video with sugestion to a MOD with optional gun HE (higth explosive) shells.
The gun in IL-2 stuka g-1 is a anti-tank, but the visual impact is too litle...

Man that thing packs a punch!...certainly doesn't look that vicious in IL2, doesn't seem quite that effective either. What could a Ju-87-G's guns knock out? ...and if the original 87G in game doesn't have high explosive rounds...why not? Seems logical.

Thats the mod that the "Mod God's" need to work on
The one that is in the game itself is too light.
My Orignal IL-2 Sturmovik the shells made more of an
impact on the ground,then I loaded Forgotten Battles and lost the
effect.

not to offend or anything, but its a rather old video, but, it is still fkn amazing and glad to see that other ppl are interested in HE shells for the G1

IT did use other types of rounds, its just that guys over here think that subcaliber tungsten rounds grow on trees.
The majority of the missions were done with HE and normal AP (APHE) rounds.

The gunsound in this clip has been used for a mod by Slow in case you are interested in it.
I still have it in old install but don't know how to add it to my HSFX 4.1 install.
