It's got the wings and tail (maybe engines too) of a C-47. Looks like a bomber version of the C-47.

The local flight museum that I used to volunteer at has one of these (Wings Over the Rockies Air Museum in Denver, Colorado). It is one of the only WWII vintage aircraft in the collection- most are Century Series jets. If anyone needs photos I could probably go and take some.

Never seen this plane before, looks weird...where was it used? Where many buildt?

Based on the Douglas DC-2 airframe (i was close), it was a bomber that equipped most of the USAAF in 1940. For the rest of the war (after most were destroyed at Pearl Harbor), they were used in the Caribbean and North Atlantic for submarine patrol and were credited with sinking numerous U-boats.

This looks kind of like a C-47 with a bomber's fuselage.

Yes but only when the bombers do not get porked like with UP2.0 where the gunners have been almost totally turned off.
UI 1.2 was better.
