Could somebody help me please i have a new clean install of 1946 patched to 4.08m with UI 1.1 and UI 1.2 as well i can connect to Hyperlobby where hundreds of people have got there games running on the 4.09 patch but the message i get is

Connection attempt to remote host rejected. Reason: Server uses a different version of the game (4.09).

Do i have to install 4.09m as i thought it was installed with Unified Installer 1.1 or am i clicking the wrong exe with my Hyperlobby what exe from the list should i use please.

U.I. 1.1 and 1.2 are based on 4.09b1m (the 'b' stands for 'beta')

Pretty much everone now has the latest 4.09m Official Patch, which was released months ago, early October, I think. If you want to fly online, you'll need to upgrade to that.

The latest mod packs are now based on that new 4.09m Official patch:

Thank you i think i finally understand UI1.1 and UI1.2 USE THE 4.09b1 beta patch (good for offline)

UP 2.0 plus HSFX both installed together on the same game use 4.09m official patch (good for online)

My only confusion is UP2.0 on its own, or HSFX installed with UP2.0 aswell (is it both together or just one of them for you own taste) ?? PLEASE COULD THIS BE CLEARED UP.

Darky, HSFX and UP are two separate Mod Packs...they don't install together.

That said, UP 2.0 includes a switcher which will make it compatible with HSFX, so if you want to have both in one install, then just go with the UP 2.0
