Just came across this great looking profile of a Tempest. Maybe it will inspire someone to take a go at it, since my skinning skins are a bit rusty and I'm busy with maps anyway. This profile has a different look to it than most Tempest sins, more elegant somehow ... must be because of the white cowling ...

Its actually a Typhoon. Even says it on the profile.

unfortunately the typhoon, as i've just been figuring out, is a tricky airplane to reskin....it uses more than just a .bmp in the skins folder to make it up. i'm going to leave this one up to someone else who is up for the challenge of figuring that can of worms out. :-?

this is why there are hardly any typhoon skins out there.

Oh the horrible Tempest sins... been there, done that... :wink:

Here's an idea... if it doesn't work on the Typhoon, make a tempest one as a placeholder first until there's a template/remapping of the typhoon?
