does anybody know any safe links to the 4.09 update because when i searched in google before and dowloaded it from the first link i got a virus and had to wipe my computers hard drive.Also if i update to 4.09 can i still get the ui mod as normal

got mine at mission4today.com just fine.

get 4.08m and then 4.09m. UI should install fine.

Hi,

The UI 1.1 and the UI 1.2 are not compatible to the official 4.09m by adding them to it. The UI comes with the beta 4.09.

If you want to get both the UI and the official 4.09m, then you need to at least build the HSFX 4.1 This is covered in the HSFX Forum.

The HSFX 4.1 includes the UI 1.1, UI 1.2, and UI 1.2.5 beta in the HSFX 4.1 download, and a bunch of other nice surprises for you.

The official 4.09m is needed before you add the HSFX. The formula for the build is as follows:

Patch your IL-2 to 4.08 or get 4.08 + The digital download patch for 4.08 only if you have the digital download version + the official 4.09m add-on + HSFX 4.0 + HSFX 4.1 ( you will be able to get the HSFX 4.11 and following add-ons later )

HSFX 4.1 has within the downloads:
