Ok, So I downloaded and installed it from the link given to me, When I run IL-2 The loading gets to 95%, and then just freezes,

Game version? Modded/unmodded? Online download or DVD? Exact download location? Patches 4.07m, 4.08m installed? Own changes to the game and/or install path?

Modded with the AAA Mod Pack, and a Few Additional Skins and Campaigns, its its A DVD, patched to 4.08m and working perfectly. No changes apart from ones already mentioned, and they were all working perfectly, I downloaded the patch from here: http://www.myotherdrive.com/dyn/dl/765. ... i/409m.exe

After download did you run it thru a anti virus program to check for unwanted hitch hikers then use 7zip or a program like it to check for corrupted files.

Forgive me if I misunderstand your last post, but you should have absolutely NO mods of any kind installed before installing 4.09m, otherwise it won't work.
Start with whatever version you have on the DVD, be it 4.07 or 4.08 ( I think Il2 1946 is ver. 4.07). Patch using official patches 4.08, then 4.09m (NOT the beta!). Test each time you install a patch to make sure you're still in business.
Once you have 4.09m installed and in good working order, provided you have hard drive space, make a copy of the game's main folder and save it for a backup. That way you can mod one of these if you wish to and still had an unmodded version for installing the next patch when it comes out later this spring.
