Hello, pilots. I've got some question about installing MODS to my sturmovik. I've got complete edition (PF+FB+AEP), it's I think 4.04 version and I tried to install installer and some mods(sound mod, propeller mod, and some aircraft, too). It looks, that it should work, but when it had to start load menu, it goes down and it didn't do anything else. When I starts to unpack self- extracting archive to my il-2 folder, I choosed option to rewrite some files, which were the same name. For full information it was for first mod installer, then all mods and then activator,and wrapper. Sorry for my crooked english, but I learn english only for 5 years. :-?

these kind of questions seem to be more prevalent lately, obviously a lot of guys aren't reading the info stickies and FAQ stuff.
Mods will ONLY work with IL2 1946 version, nothing else....period.
You need IL2 1946, then get it patched to at least 4.08m, and then even better if it's patched to 4.09m.

Yep seems like there's one or two just about every week or so huh bigboss? Sorry to tell ya dude but the bigboss is correct you have to have 1946 to get mods.

Il-2 1946 is very cheap and a must-have. It has everything in one plus some 1946 planes & other great stuff added.
