is it possible to draw/insert 3D moddels from inventor?

hey, i can draw 3D moddels in inventor (autocat), i've never tryed a plane before but i think i can do that^^
but is it possible to insert a 3d moddel from that program into il2?

No, sorry it's not possible to import 3D models directly into IL2 with Inventor,
You must have 3DS max or Gmax to import models into IL2.

so if a draw a 3d moddel i might ask someone here to skinn and put it in il-2?

First, you'll have to get someone do the Flight/Damage modelling, coding etc.

ah allright, well if i can find some time i'll try and experiment on some 3d moddels, any planes wanted xD?

and whats the beste scale to use? like 1/10 or something?

1- As you were answered before, its not possible to put iventor models, nor Solidworks, nor Pro/engineer, nor Catia, nor Solid Hedge, nor any other CAD program. Believe me i tried.

2- Just learn how to do models for IL2, when you have your airplane finished somone will import it into IL2, another will make a skin... etc...

3- Be patient and be relaxed because lots of things will go wrong. I've witness some well knowned modders have bads days at modding.

well after reading that i'm just wondering what program i should use, i did alot of 3d moddeling in inventor so i can give some other program a try to, would be nice to make some planes and stuff for this community Smile
