Daidalos Team Update for Feb 18, 2010
#1

Hello all,

I didn't see any posts relating to this, so here you are... This week's update highlights modifications to the Quick Mission Builder as well as a WIP pic of the Re.2000 cockpit (which is exciting to me because the Re.2000 is fun to fly and it may serve as a jumping off point to the later, DB-engined Re.200x fighters).

Hi Guys Big Grin

Ive got a question! But bevore you read my comment, let me tell you that im German, and my English is not so good! :?

In the Moment i use UP2 with my IL-2 Game. Can i install the 4.10 Patch when it's released. Or wouldn't it work, because of the UP2. Must i do a complete new Installation of IL-2?
It would be niche if someone can help me Big Grin

I'm pretty sure UP2 would not be compatible with 4.10, at least not at first. I imagine UP2.1 would be released shortly after 4.10, restoring compatibility, but I would wait until you see an update to Ultrapack which advertises 4.10 compatibility before attempting to patch your installation. One thing you might try is copy your IL-2 installation, disable all the mods in the second installation and then patch the de-modded copy. I'm sure there are experts here who could help you do that. Then you would have IL-2 with UP2 and Il-2 stock with 4.10. I doubt you will have them both together until UP2.1 comes out. Maybe a more knowledgeable member can elaborate on this.

I hope this helps,

Oh, Yes! Your Answer helps! Thanks for it.
Ive got an Idea. In One, or Two Weeks i get a new graphic card. My Brother is going to install it. I didnt got the know how for that technikel stuff. He wants to set up my PC totaly new. So i had to delet my IL-2 from my PC. Somehow or other i had to do a complet new intallation of IL-2. I could make a new Inst. with the Standart version of IL-2 (4.07) and than i could patch it to 4.09. Than i copy my IL-2 Folder (4.09), so ive got it twice. On one Folder i istall the 4.10 Patch, when it was released. And on the Other Folder i install the UP2. Would this be a good Solution? But i dont now how to choose betwin this to Folders, when i want to play. So how can i choose what i want to play. :???:

damned...i should learn more English
