Power 40 - what mod is this?
#1

Hi all:

Well, it's finally happened - I've put in so many mods I've forgotten what all I have.

I was going through my Controls and found Power 10 is for the bomb bay doors (I remember that!), Power 30 is for closing the cowl flaps/radiator door(s) (I remember that 'cause I use it so much), and then there's the Power 40 control. I've got mine set for Alt+D and have no idea what it's for. Can someone clue me in?

Great days all.

Power40 is for some mod spits to open their side door. It does not work with every spit but at least with the Griffon ones.

So, that's what it is!! That explains the Alt+D - open the 'D'oor!!

Thanks a million.

Tater718: Good tip about printing out the key assignments - I'll do that right now.

On a side note to all this: is there some way of changing the wording in the Control section so that, instead of seeing, "Power 40" we change it to say "Toggle side door", or "Power 10" saying "Open/close Bomb bay doors"?

Great days all.

What mod are you using? Somewhere there is 'Controls.properties' or something like that. Ultrapack has them changed to Open/close side door ETC.

I've been inspired to write a film script. It's about an airline flight whose pilot suffers from amnesia.... No?.... Oh forget it then Big Grin

Since I'm predominantly offline I'm not using anything like UP or HSFX - I've got a heavily modded version with picked and chosen mods.

Quote:Look in your "users" file in the main game section. "Doe" is where the settings are hiding. If you want to create a new game, just copy/paste your old settings onto your new game.
I take this one step further and copy my current Control file into the file marked "Default" so if I accidentally hit the Default button at the bottom of the Control screen (I've been known to do that!) I at least only lose maybe one or two key assigments - something like swapping the buttons on my joystick for Weapon 1 and Weapon 2.

Great days all.

What mod base do you use? SAS mod activator?

I'm using the AAA Mod Activator with SAS buttons I put in a few days ago. I then had to put the SAS Engine Sound and Weapons Sound mods in to get the sounds back. One other thing I've put in from SAS is the driveable jeep and kubelwagen. Everything else is from here at AAA.

Great days all.
