wait... I thought colour was only going through prototyping in WW2, and the marshall aid was for paint to colour the world? Confusedhock:

great photos! thanks.

i love seeing these hi-res color photos....it always amazes me how robust and gruff these airplanes were during wartime. i've never seen a picture like these (see first photo) of an airplane where the props weren't sprayed in oil from their hubs. Big Grin 8)

kind of shows the effort made to just get them into the air and fight.


p.s. we need that B26 in game already! :wink:

Saw these last year on a website, I believe there are a few more. Amazing photos... it's only too bad we have few picture of such a great quality from those years.

incredible. old cameras are the best, i use a lubitel 166 to take pictures.

i loved the sharp effet in the center and the contrast with the rest.
