Did you ever noticed that Stuka40's ground dirt explosion is really a visible 2D for example ????? 8)
Nothing beats visually particles and smoke assigned class files effects .
Animation 2D .txl effects sucks big time , it's enough for some effects like gun fire flare ,
flag wind animation and some small other effects but for the rest of effects it is very much useless .
It's pity you found love with reconfiguring effects in 2010 , not far from BoB:SoW release .
Effects have been redone to death since 2008 with countless experiments.
Unless the effects class files gets makover with editing effects redistribution between ingame
objects and removing stupid sharing between various objects like flak explosion with
locomotive explosion for example :roll: then you'll be better off playing and enjoying
this simulator especially now when we got to the point of Oleg's a must release of BoB:SoW .
Of course if you have a plenty of free time you can go through all this 2D .txl stuff and countless tests
and smokes experiments yet again :wink:

I was talking about ingame effects during play , are you talking about IL-2 video editing created effects ?
I might very well misunderstood what you're trying to accomplish , I am still lost as those videos are not
helping me much to know what is this " Dynamic " all about 8)

i think figuring out 2D effects like this using a "picture" is kind of a step backwards. whats the point? for movie making, maybe, but for during gameplay??
