I have seen in videos that the pilots in planes can be seen as dead or injured, and I have seen blood in videos, too.
For some reason... I don't get that. Only the He-111H does that but you don't get any blood or window cracks from the exterior, but, it did that anyway in Forgotten Battles.
I have seen it happen only twice for the BI-1, and the second time it glitched and I saw the pilot leaning forward, but there was also another pilot's head still in the origional position.
I have the graphics on full.
I have edited the 'conf' configuration flie in the game folder where it says 'HighGore', and put 1 instead of 0.
