Can anybody do this? It's a very photogenic plane, as well as being a major, and one of the few, Japanese bombers. To my knowledge it is the only Japanese long range/ heavy bomber.
Here is all (so I hope) the information you should need for the aircraft:
Years Produced: 1935-1945
Crew: 7
Length: 16.45 m (53 ft 11
Oh hell yeah, I am dreaming of shooting those down by the thousands
I'd love to see this and many other japanese planes, especially the D4Y Judy dive bomber.

Nice idea. I'd love to see it.
The G3M would be a wonderful addition to the IL2 hanger. Just as a sidenote, we do have another japanese medium/long range bomber, the Ki-21 "Sally".
Love to see the G3M nell but it is an older Japanese bomber compared to the G4M Betty. It was used mainly over China and very early in the pacific war as a bomber. I would prefer to see some later Japanese medium bombers if there must be a choice with better performance and better armed and protected liked the ki 67 Hiryu peggy and PY Ginga 'Frances' both excellent WW2 medium bombers. So much later Jap missing like the D4Y Judy I agree. Then we see if so and so can shoot them down by the thousands!
 I love to see this plane in IL-2 , It would be a fair addition to japan .
Is anybody going to adopt this project? I already know a lot of the other missing Japanese planes such as the D4Y and D3A2 are being modelled in, surely this has just as much right- if not more- to be in the game than they. It was one of the two primary bombers of the Japanese air force, and the only heavy bomber, the Ki-21 and G4M1 are both medium-class bombers.
Well even though at the time the G3M was developed it was called a "heavy bomber" it carries the same bomb load as the G4M Betty: 800 kg (1,764 lb) of bombs or 1
