Hey guys, is there any way to make kill markings appear on a panel of your aircraft or the tail other than copy pasting symbols onto your skin. Is it possible to create a mod for this?

i would say that would be a little hard.. but would be very cool! but you can make a skin and add new markings for kills on your deisored skin

Somewhere I read that on Mission4Today there was a mod called paint victories...

well you can do it manually but it means that after every kill you have to paint another one on! Just load your skin into paint or photoshop (or any image editing program) and simply paint it on! Very easy to mark for Luftwaffe as its just a straight line on the tail. I did this once in a Russian campaign where I marked German crosses (not swastikas-more effort) on the side of my I-16.

i downloaded that program, but i have no idea how to use it, i set a patch for a skin, choose an area to paint my kill icons, but bugger all happens, and there is no read me, so some little help would be warmly welcomed

The program works fine, run it, load your skin, then put in your kill markings. it offers you a wide variety of choices. unfortunately you have to add a new mark with each kill.

yeah i finally figured it out, works really well.

Pherhaps if you could tell us and as with just the straight lines I saw a picture in a book and an German Ace had RAF roundel above the straight mark for his kill tally on tail.
