Hello All,

I got the Il2 and also the UP 2.0, but on most of the maps from the career and so on there's no real trees, there's just two green spots one on the ground and the other a few meters above, to give a "tree" like view while flying.

My question is, there's any mod or file to chance it, to a real tree, that looks like a real one, and that works on all maps independent of the game mode that you're playing on ?!?

I do have real trees there, you may have graphics too low.

Hello KG64,

Im running the game on the top graphics, don't know why it's not appearing, i mean i see at least some trees in some places, but when it's a forest the green spots are there !!!!

What do you have Forest set to in your config ini?Try Forest=3 or 4 and see if that doesn't look better.

I'll try as soon as i've a chance (probably tomorrow) but to avoid open another thread, since im using UP 2.0, there's other settings that i can change on the config files that can improve the game visuals !?!?

Yep There sure is Water for one and also effects, there are others to.

I tried to change mine to 4 but it didn't have any affect. I still have the "carpet" type trees.

Oh, yes. Now I understand. The trees are carpet type in the forests. It would be a huge FPS hit if they were made from 'real' trees. It cannot be changed. The game is somewhat 7 years old, you know.
