well, if you think about it and search a bit on the web, you'll see that germany indeed had some nice ideas and technologys but at the end they just run out of time... of course there won't have been a sidewinder... but just imagine if germany would have had a bit more time (ah, I'm not sure about my grammar used here).... I am German, but please do not think i would have want hitler and his shit to win something :wink:

lol, $2 matinee??? Where do I sign up? At the local movie theater it's like seven or eight bucks for the matinee!

Some second run theaters have 2 or 3 dollar matinees. At least they do in IA and CO. They run movies that have been out of big theaters for a month or so.

The joke is they did have the technology to use television cameras. One experimental missile was guided by such a camera in the nose relaying visuals to a bomb-aimer. But not infra-red or low-light. That's a bit too Top Gun or 'Nazi's On The Moon' for me
