Air Spawn in Dogfights
#1

Hey Chaps
I've been searching for a way to make Air Starts or Spawning in the air in Dogfight missions. I've found threads that have said it's possible I haven't actually came across any that tell you how it's done.
If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it.
Cheers

Many others will be able to tell you about it better than me but, i think you need to open "stationary ships" or just "Ships".

Scroll to the bottom where you will see "Test Runway 1" and 2 and 3.

Select 3 i think it is and place it where you want your airspawn to be.

Then select "homebase" and add that to it, select the properties of your homebase ie add planes colour etc

And you should be good to go.

As i said many others will explain better than me but that's the basics, hope it helps Smile

Yes, test runway 4 with a homebase on it makes you spwan in the air,
but I was wondering how you can make waterplanes take off from the water in dofight maps.

Yes, some maps have water aerodromes. Finnish Gulf has some, NTL_Darwin, maybe Norway...can't recall.

Regarding the OP and airspawns, Test Runway 4 gives airsspawns if placed on water, or uneven land, but if placed on level ground, you will spawn on the ground.
Another way to get airspawns is with the latest Zuti DSMods, which adds a checkbox for airspawn to the Home Base in Object Viewer.
