[MOD] 10 metre ruler
#1

This may seem like a strange Mod to make but I often find I need to measure
distances smaller than the 10 metre grid lines.

If you need to read the centimetre divisions grab a Static camera
& use that to zoom in close enough.

That's actually pretty clever! Big Grin

I'll be getting that once my computer is back up and running and I have some time for IL-2 related matters

Pretty cool and useful, Kevin. But how do I find it in FMB?

Edit: Never mind, found it. Last Object (1466 in mine)

Awesome! In future when people make maps they should place this in as an Easter Egg hidden somewhere especially they should do it on the Canvas Knights Map.

How do I get the ruler that is on the ground because I only found the one that was standing up.

I was wondering... Could you make it double sided with the other measurements on the other side? (feet, in. etc)

Hope that isn't asking for much. this is a very handy tool. I love it. Thanks.

I though of having Feet & inches on the other side but every thing in IL-2 is in metres.

You can always make your own texture for the ruler, there are plenty of images of rulers to download.

great mod mate, would it be possible though to have a ruler that fits all the grid sizes, like 10m, 1km,10km I always get confused as to what level im looking at, and i have heard that not all maps have the same zoom in grid sizes ( dont know if this is right or not).

thanks again
