Hi all,

How do you get IL-2 to run with 1920-1080 res and not have the screen squished in the center?

PS: My screen res outside the game is 1920-1080

Try setting these parameters in conf.ini

[window]
width=1920
height=1080
ChangeScreenRes=0
FullScreen=1
EnableResize=1
SaveAspect=0

ChangeScreenRes=0 assumes your desktop runs 1920x1080, otherwise you would want that =1
SaveAspect=0 because this is not a 4:3 aspect ratio that the game is made for. Keep in mind, that this will crop the top and bottom of the standard 4:3 aspect ratio view to fit your widescreen HD res.

It does work, but the planes are all squished and look distorted.
