Hi!

Without Jinxx's conf.ini I got these results offline and online, with my modded game:

Offline 16vs16

Min:0
Max:296
AVG:29

Explosions cause FPS loss

Online:
41 players, medium settings, UkDedicated1

10-20 FPS, over the airfield and when looking at it 3-9 FPS

'Will try unmodded online tomorrow, and test Jinxx's conf.ini with my modded game

How is it working now?
Any improvement?

Yes, about 10 FPS more. It still gives me fPS under 20 when flying low. I haven't tested online, but the bases give me about 7 FPS.

Try dropping land details to 1.

Also, try this topic.

I did up a Config guide to tell you everything you could possibly want to know about the Conf.ini file and it's settings.

'Will take a look at it and report back.

It's a bit better again. 30 FPS when flying low over sea, but when ever I see a base the FPS drops dramatically.

Well, the only other thing I can think of is the airfield plate mods that are part of the mod packs.

Well, not really dramatically anymore, it's over 10 but under 20.

Just curious, are you running a 64-bit OS per chance? And have you tried one of those specialty .exe files for various amounts of memory, specifically the one that fits to your system specs? Might help.

No one of teh exes fits my system. I have 32bit vista and 4Gb RAM.

Alright, just thought I'd ask. I get ugly stuttering over bases/cities too, and changing my video setup ID seemed to help fix some of it.

Now it works fine, smooth 50FPS in the air, wut?

So what else did you change?
