Hey guys.

I was comparing these two versions of the Ju-87 the other day and found something weird:

the Ju-87 D-3 doesn't auto-pull up, compared to the B-2. :-? (also in the B-2, the bombs drop when the auto-pull up triggers, but thats not my point now)
Is this some kind of error in the game? Because it's still a must for the diver, as the pilot loses consciousness because of the 6g when pulling up.
Also, if this turns out to just be a bug/error in the game, could one of you modders out there make some mod for this? i think lot's of people would like it.


Other then this slight error i'd like to ask you guys which variant you prefer. (in-game)

The D-3 has a better engine and bomb rack, so can carry more bombs. Tho the auto-drop and siren are a really big up for the B-2.

I think the real downsides of the B-2 are its rear turret and the wing mounted machine guns, which have trouble with the most basic of vehicles.

The Ju87d-3 is supposed to be an improved B, for "Better in any way"..
both have the puny small machine guns in the wings..





I think we need a mod that makes the pilot blackout when coming out of the dive
that was the whole purpose of the whole system to automatically level off the plane while the pilot is unconscious.

we should have that in game!

All of my JU-87's have auto pull up - I did not try the G model as its
for ground pounding tanks.

My vote is for the B variant. Spanish Civil War, Poland, Battle of France, Battle of Britain, Balkans, Greece, Africa and the Mediterranean...
And of course, IMHO it was better-looking than the later variants. But this is my personal taste...

That's bada$$ brother. I've tried using the Ju-87G as a nightfighter, which will shred bombers! (if you can catch them, that is... )

In the desert maps online I'll cover my buddies against P-40s and Hurricanes with no problem. I have not tried the B-model against the bombers.

You're right! Most of the people don't know how good fighter stuka really is.

25% fuel, no ammo, i can never coax the stuka above 270kmph. How on earth can you dogfight with it?!

I also prefer the B-2 variante more, the D-3 is a bit clumsy by left-right left rolls...
BUT, the D-3 has better defensive gun, that hurts badly !!

I also use STUKA (any Type) for Dogfighting online, surprice for everyone when death comes from above...
but I must use this plane for B&Z ... no chance to get fighters on same level.

At 3,500 km Alt I use Compressor Step 2, radiator on 6, PWR on 103%, on dive I close the Rad.
Mostly Dive Velo is 480 km/h... no breaks.

I have attacked 2 TB-3's in formation, came from 4 oc high (1k-2k meters higher), one strafe, 2 pilot kills...
