More targets for your Mustangs and Spitfires... Big Grin

New skins for the Luft-1946 aircraft "Spatz" Heinkel-162-C

This version under consideration included the A-and B-series fuselage, Heinkel-Hirth 011A engine, swept wing, and "vee" or "butterfly" tail assembly.
They were to me armed with twin MK-108 30 millimeter cannon.

The He-162C got no farther than a half-completed prototype that could be fitted with interchangeable forward-swept or back-swept wings, discovered by the Allies when they occupied the plant at Schwechat.

In fact, the only advanced variant of the He-162 that was actually flown was the "He-162E", which was an He-162A fitted with the BMW-003R mixed power plant, which was a BMW-003A with an integrated BMW-718 liquid-fuel rocket engine for boost power. At least one prototype was built and flight-tested for a short time.

Available at http://mission4today.com/ in the skins-downloads folder (He-162-C)

This skin template is my own creation , with some added fuselage lines/panels
from the skinner FBS, from his Heinkel-162-A2 version skin-template. So I also gave
him credit for this skin-template I put together.

Hope you have a great flight !
Cheers
MAX

These are so well done and pretty but I need Soviet versions Max. The reds get to fly the Me 162 in WWIII 1946.

Yes, I know Hairog, but these are requested skins for someone else. They were the ones that were
next in line for me to do.

Your Russian Machines are almost done too. Big Grin Two skins of the "original and real" captured Heinkel-162-A2,
and also two skins of the "original and real" captured Me-262.
For fictional stuff, you can always used these 162-C skins, as they also come in blank versions, so you can add any
roundel you want in the Il-2-1946 game.
I will post the Russian machines for you soon.
Oh, I almost forgot, also add 2 skins of a captured russian Arado-Ar 234 bomber.
