Can someone please tell me what this is for and how exactly it's used in the Full Mission Builder?

Thanks for the help...

I have the same question, I've never gotten it to work. Might be for map building.

Select all is used in Map Editor ,"Unlocked FMB" mode only.

It selects every object on the map and turns every icon Red.
It helps to select an Icon because in Map Editor to find them, the spot where you click on is hidden in Map Editor.
So selecting all can turn all Icons Red so you can see them.

Or hit Delete when all is selected and every object on the map will be deleted all at once.

But again this is in Map Editor only

Thanks for clearing that up for us Easy. I was hoping it was something we could use to move/rotate a selection of objects at once. That would be nice to have in FMB.

Your welcome SlowBurn, here's how to select and rotate an object group with the FMB+ Mod

If you use the FMB+ Mod,you can hold down Alt,left click and drag your mouse to drag a box around a group of objects to select the group.Once selected, you can drag the group around as a group.Up top click Edit and then click Rotate, now you can use the NumPad numbers to rotate the objects.Be careful with rotate,if you have an object clicked on in the group only the one object will rotate.Ypu must right click and Unselect the object that you grabbed to drag the group after dargging it.Once you have right clicked and unselected ,then the group of objects will rotate as a group.
